D'nalsi is a fictional island created by Bryan Station High School's Advanced Creative Writing II and III class. The students of the class each play out a character in this fantastical world that have their own unique backgrounds and idiosyncrasies, and this open wiki serves as a collaborative and creative effort in designing this fictional world.

D'nalsi is an island seperated into seperate eastern and western hemispheres by a large river running up through the middle. It has several mountain chains and its topographical landscape varies from open grass plains to ranges of hills and several fjords throughout the southern areas. The eastern hemisphere is renowned for its lush forests and uncivilized inhabitants, who frollic in the treetops of the Great Forest. The western hemipshere is mostly surrounded by shifting mountains and several cascading deserts, though is distinguished by the giant tree known by its inhabiting cult as Eldritch. A system of flooded underground caverns and rivers run throughout the island, with the largest concentration lying diretly under Eldritch. The Merpeople inhabit these fresh water caverns. Often they get along with and trade with the land dwellers, though there has been a history and in some areas there continues to be an abusive caste system or even slave trade employed by the island's inhabititants against the Merpeople. The lack of sunlight throughout these caverns is compensated with the bioluminescent bulbs provided by the tree roots of the island. There is also a system of interconnected tunnels built by the inhabitants throughout the Great Forest that streatches as far as the western mountain chains on the other side of the river.
